Pearl
Cherished as
symbols of purity and perfection, elegance and affluence, pearls are unusual gems
created inside of living animals called mollusks. They occur naturally in a wide
range of shapes, sizes and colors. What gives a pearl its luminous natural beauty
is its nacreous luster. Valued throughout human history as decorative objects,
in recent history people have discovered how to induce pearl formation. Today
cultured pearls can be found in a rainbow of colors, finishes and shapes.
Peridot

amethyst, rose quartz, citrine, smoky quartz, milky/snowy quartz, aventurine,
cat's eye, tigereye. Tourmelated quartz, reticulated quartz, or dendritic quartz
look like they have fragments of plant material embedded in the stone.
